Walk-and-talk
You want to do this, but the idea of a small room and a stranger's undivided attention makes your skin itch. Sitting face to face is a particular kind of exposure, and for some men it's the exact thing that has kept them from ever starting.

Where this work takes you
The full 50 minutes of proper therapy, minus the room. Movement takes the edge off, side by side beats eye to eye, and Bristol's floating harbour handles the scenery. Men who would never have lasted in an armchair do years of real work out here.
This is a good fit if
- You think better on your feet and talk better side by side
- The idea of a consulting room has put you off starting for years
- You spend all week at a desk and the last thing you need is another chair
How it unfolds
-
Same start
The free call, then a first session. We meet at the practice room off Welsh Back and take it from there, literally.
-
The route
A flat, step-free loop along the floating harbour at whatever pace suits you. The route is chosen for quiet, and what's said on the walk is exactly as confidential as anything said in the room.
-
Flexible by design
Room, walk or online, you can switch week to week. Some of the hardest conversations start on the water and finish in the chairs.
Every session includes
- A free 15-minute intro call before anything is booked
- Weekly 50-minute walking sessions along the harbourside
- The room as a standing backup, at no extra cost, whenever it makes more sense

Fifteen minutes, no obligation, no jargon
You've read this far, which usually means something. The next step is a free 15-minute call. You tell me what's going on, in whatever order it comes out, and I give you a straight answer about whether I can help. If the answer's no, I'll point you at someone better suited. Either way you'll know more than you do now.

What happens when it rains?
This is Bristol, so a fair question. Light rain, we walk; I know every awning on the route. Proper weather and the session moves to the room or online instead. You're never charged twice and never soaked on principle.
What if we pass someone I know?
Then two men are having a walk, which is all anyone sees. I will never greet you first in public, and we agree before we start how you'd like to handle it. Confidentiality doesn't stop at the door; it comes with us.
